With less than two weeks until the 92nd Mexia Rodeo, which is put on by the Mexia Area Chamber of Commerce, some final preparations are still taking shape, according to Traci LaFoy, executive director of the Chamber.
Daniel Lima and his daughter, Danielle Anderson, used to drive to Corsicana to get snow cones. He realized he could do something similar, and that’s where the dream to open Danny’s Diner and Sweet Treats was born. He and his wife, Shirley, are co-owners and Danielle is the social media manager.
