Patricia A. Rischer, Faith Temple Ministries pastor, sang “By The Grace of the Lord, I’ve Come A Long Way,” at the Pearly Gates Funeral Home ribbon-cutting event Thursday, June 16, which signified the business joining the Mexia Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Mexia Youth Volleyball Camp will be Friday and Saturday at the Mexia High School gym.
The Mexia Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors met Tuesday, June 14, to discuss sponsorship requests, funding scholarships and grant applications.
This week at Mexia LTC we started off with wheelchair races Monday morning and bingo in the afternoon. Residents enjoyed Bible Group with Bob Kersten on Tuesday morning. Residents played penny toss and enjoyed snow cones on Tuesday afternoon.
