Limestone County commissioners took some time to recognize and thank two important groups in the county during their meeting Tuesday, April 11 – dispatchers, and the Child Welfare Board, as April is Child Abuse Prevention Month.
One of the cool things about calling spring turkeys is no two hunts are ever the same. The idea is to fool a gobbler into thinking you are something you are not, and to ultimately lure the regal bird into shotgun range, 40 yards or less.
Coolidge Elementary will be holding its annual Pre-Kindergarten/Kindergarten Round-Up from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 4, in the Elementary building located at 1000 Kirven St., Coolidge.
This week at Mexia LTC we started off playing bean-bag toss Monday morning. Residents played bingo Monday afternoon. Residents enjoyed Bible group with Bob Kersten on Tuesday morning. Residents enjoyed a wheelchair-wash event with Sindra and Kim from Accent Care on Tuesday afternoon.
