Former Lions Club District Governor Rancy Sepulvado, right, congratulates Mexia Lion Daniel Burkeen on being awarded the Lions Club International Foundation’s Chairperson medal empowering service worldwide for 2020-21 at the state, national and international levels. Sepulvado was district governor in 2020-21 and is now a global service team leader. Burkeen represents the Mexia Lions Club at the District level and the Lions 2X-3 District at state level.
Many Limestone County residents expressed their grievances Thursday, July 7, about cell phone and internet service outages on social media.
Wanda Givens said she was unhappy at her previous job so she created her own business, Nirvana Sno, a Hawaiian shave ice and ice cream stand located at 1123 E. Milam in Mexia.
