Kambry Williams, a Mexia-area resident who is a United States Navy servicewoman, will be spending Christmas in the Mediterranean Sea aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford, as Israel’s war with Hamas drags on.

I don’t know about you but the song “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas” always helps me set the mood for this time of year. The lyrics do a good job of describing the expected heightened emotions of Christmas. But what about the unexpected? Christmas is indeed a time when emotions are heightened. Happiness, Joy, Love, Anticipation!
