Mexia State Supported Living Center is hosting a hiring event at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, at the Chapel on campus, Director Melinda Gentry said.
I don’t know what your holiday wish list looks like this year, but here’s hoping all you big bass buffs out there reel in a heavyweight too chubby for Santa to stuff in his fluffy red bag of goodies. Hopefully, somebody will get lucky and catch a new state record.
Mexia resident Jerry Mason lost everything, including his two dogs, Ziggy and Ginger, during a house fire on Christmas Eve.
This week at Mexia LTC we started off with Bible Study with Irma Carranza. Residents enjoyed activities of choice on Monday afternoon. Residents enjoyed their Bible Group with Bob Kersten on Tuesday morning. Residents played bingo that afternoon.
