The Mexia Garden Club proudly presents the Civic Pride Award to El Patio Restaurant on Milan Street. Accepting the award from Garden Club member Patty Manley are Kendell Castillo and Hiromy Cisneros. The rock garden has plants not needing a lot of water. There are palms, cactus and maguey plants.
Limestone Christian Academy is preparing for its second year of classic Christian education. The 2023-24 school year brings in an enrollment increase of 13 students, one teacher and two grade levels.
This week at Mexia LTC we started the week having Bible study with Irma Carranza on Monday morning. Residents played bingo that afternoon. Residents enjoyed Bible group with Bob Kersten on Tuesday morning. Residents had their Residents’ Council meeting and enjoyed ice cream on Tuesday afternoon.

The overall district tournament had a happy ending for the girls on the Mexia Pest Control 6-and-under tee ball team, even though the championship game wasn’t so good.
