Limestone County now has 10 COVID-19 cases

The number of COVID-19 virus cases in Limestone County jumped to 10 Thursday, with the addition of three to the seven total this morning. 

According to Limestone County Emergency Director Matt Groveton, the three new cases are 

Patient 8 – a male in his 20s.

Patient 9 – a male in his 70s.

Patient 10 – a male in his 50s. 

“Many are wanting to know which area of Limestone these cases are located,” Groveton said on the Emergency Management Facebook page. “Other sites have it, and we may have a little more info soon. I think I can safely say the large majority of these are in the north end of Limestone.”

The number of COVID-19 fatalities remains at 1, a women in her late 50s, who passed away March 31.
