Limestone County employees recognized for years of service

Limestone County commissioners took time at their Aug. 29 meeting to recognize county employees who had reached certain milestones in their years of service.
About twice a year, the court honors employees who have achieved five, 10 and 20 years of service by inviting them to come to a commissioners court meeting and receive a certificate of appreciation.
“We like to recognize our employees that have been with us for a long time,” said County Judge Daniel Burkeen, “because their experience is valuable to us.
“We appreciate y’all,” he said to those at the meeting.
