Coolidge falls to Calvert 38-74

The Calvert Trojans gave the Coolidge Yellowjackets all they could handle Friday night at Coolidge Yellow Jacket Athletic Complex.
The Trojans ended up with a 74-38 win, but Coolidge put up a tremendous fight throughout the game.
The score was close in the first two quarters of play, with Calvert taking a 28-20 lead at the end of one.
Coolidge’s Torrey Hoover got the ball rolling for the Yellowjackets in the first quarter, connecting with Roman Benjamin on a seven-yard touchdown pass to give the team a 6-0 lead.
