The atmosphere at the Mexia High School gym was electric Tuesday night, and the Mexia Blackcats turned up the juice and left Palestine Westwood in the dark in a battle of state-ranked teams.
The Runnin' Cats ran Kemp out of the gym in a non-district basketball game Tuesday, Nov. 21.
Four area teams will move on to the UIL football playoffs next week.
